Geneva, 6 April 2023 - To ensure that education remains high on the political agenda and secure no disruption in the funding of its activities, UNESCO-IBE is organizing a high-level event in Geneva aiming to bring together public and private sector organizations, foundations, and businesses that keep education close to their hearts.

The event will take place on Tuesday, 9 May 2023.

Following a brief introduction to UNESCO-IBE and a presentation of its star projects, the event will welcome the signing of a partnership with the “Tous EGO par le Sport” with the President, Emilie Gomis, a renowned French athlete, and activist.

Paricipants and guests will be introduced to:

-Promotion of the values of sports through their introduction in the teacher training curricula of physical and sports education. Read more about the initiative here.
-Integration of sustainable development, climate change, and water-related issues into curricula through the promotion of green and blue curricula. Read more here.
-Integration of health, well-being and nutrition into curricula. Find out more here.
