The 65th session of the governing board of the International Bureau of Education was held in Geneva from 13 to 15 January 2015. The IBE Council reviewed the progress of the Institute’s work over the past year and adopted the work programme and budget for 2016. The Council members unanimously voted for the presidency of the Sultanate of Oman and praised the leadership of the outgoing President Mr. Obioma.
The IBE Council acts as the governing body of Bureau and is composed of 12 representatives from Member States designated by UNESCO’s General Conference for a four year term of office.
