The creation and implementation of purposefully developed plans for guiding the process by which learners gain knowledge and understanding, and develop skills, attitudes, appreciations and values. Instruction is frequently associated with the term ‘curriculum’ and generally refers to the teaching methods and learning activities that a teacher uses to deliver the curriculum in the classroom.
