Teachers from around the world share best practices during the second GigaPan Dialogues Workshop

Pittsburgh, USA, 14-16 November 2010 During this workshop, participants will reflect on their 2009-2010 activities, compile curriculum documents and draft best practices for the project moving forward and plan activities for 2011. All schools participating in 2009-2010 activities will be invited to present on their experiences.  New schools and educators joining the project in 2011 will participate in a training session to familiarize themselves with the GigaPan technology. The workshop will also feature a poster session of student work.
It will bring together teachers from current (Brazil, Indonesia, South Africa, Switzerland, Trinidad and Tobago and the United States) and new schools (Finland) participating in the "GigaPan School Dialogues: Diversity and Inclusion in the Community" project, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Education of Brazil, the Indonesian National Commission for UNESCO, UNESCO ASPnet, IBE and Carnegie Mellon University (CMU).  This international workshop is co-organized by IBE and CMU, in collaboration with UNESCO ASPnet.
